ANAC CERTIFICA NOVO MODELO DE AVIÃO EXECUTIVO DA EMBRAER

A Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC) entregou, nesta terça-feira (11 de agosto), o Certificado de Tipo da aeronave EMB-545 (Legacy 450) da Embraer, modelo de avião executivo da empresa derivado do Legacy 450. O jato foi apresentado na LABACE (Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition), maior evento da aviação executiva da América Latina que reúne os principais fabricantes e empresas da aviação executiva em São Paulo. No mesmo evento no ano passado, o modelo derivado do Legacy 500 recebeu a certificação da ANAC. 

A aeronave EMB-545 pode transportar até nove passageiros a uma distância de 2.575 milhas náuticas (4750 km). Assim como a aeronave da qual é derivada, é o único modelo que possui a tecnologia “fly-by-wire” na categoria, ou seja, que utiliza computadores ao invés de cabos para mover as superfícies de comando. 

A certificação da aeronave é resultado de mais de seis anos de trabalho conjunto da ANAC e da Embraer, envolvendo também as autoridades dos Estados Unidos e da Europa em um trabalho de certificação paralelo, que permitirá  a comercialização do modelo no exterior.

A entrada em operação da aeronave está prevista para dezembro deste ano.
